Bruce E. Vinion

With 35+ years of experience in the financial services industry, Bruce has dedicated himself to making a positive impact in his clients’ lives by helping to educate and advise them regarding the ins and outs of wealth management. With a focus on business planning and wealth protection strategies, as well as Labor Department–compliant retirement planning, Bruce works closely with those he serves to put together comprehensive financial plans that are clearly defined and understandable.
Prior to establishing VK Wealth Advisors, Bruce was employed for seven years with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management as a vice president, financial advisor and portfolio manager. Before that he served as a vice president and financial advisor with Merrill Lynch/Bank of America for 13 years and as a financial advisor with Legg Mason Wood Walker for nine. Bruce began his career as the developer and operator of Dorcas Place Shopping Mall before serving as an employee benefits manager at Standard Steel. While at Standard Steel, he also owned and operated Gracie’s, a fine fashion and fur boutique named after his wife.
A graduate of Youngstown State University, Bruce earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physics and his master’s degree in business administration. He holds his Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses and Pennsylvania state insurance licenses.
Originally from Ohio, Bruce now splits his time between Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, and Punta Gorda, Florida. He and his wife, Grace, have two children, Treasure and Buster.
Active in his community, Bruce is a previous member of the Lewistown Business Association and has served on the Boy Scouts of America’s local financial board. He also has been the proud recipient of the Civic Improvement Award from the Juniata River Valley and the State College Chamber of Commerce.
In his free time, Bruce enjoys boating, camping, traveling – particularly in RVs – and reading. He is a member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association’s Boating Club and RV Travel Club.
